The Foodbank of Santa Barbara County is the primary food sourcing agency in the county. Working with 300+ partnering agencies and their programs, including many of the Foodbank's own programs, we provide nutritious food and food literacy training to eliminate hunger and support long-term transforming good health. In Santa Barbara County, one in four people receive food support from the Foodbank; over 140,000 unduplicated people countywide. In 2014, the Foodbank distributed the food and resources to support 8.5 million meals - half of which was fresh produce. In the City of Lompoc, more than 750,000 meals worth of food was distributed to 15,000+ individuals.
