Part four of a four-part mini-program on modern marketing approaches using the Internet. These are geared specifically for brick-and-mortar businesses and event-driven businesses and organizations.
Each session will complete the picture of today's proven practices using email and mailing lists, lead generation and confirming attendance for events using social media, Facebook and your website.
May 23 - From Marketing Online to Filling Seats will cover the end-to-end process of gathering leads, getting them to say yes to your offers using email and Facebook and finally how to make sure they show up. You may be surprised to find that missing one particular task can result in 25% of people not showing up at your event. We will cover the mechanics of filling seats using modern marketing techniques and how you can get the most out of your events. We will also cover the ways to make your event as compelling as possible. All participants will receive a freebie relating to this class.
These four classes will be taught by Joseph Dowdy who has worked with companies and entrepreneurs to use the Internet to make money since 2000. Among more notable and recognizable names, he launched the blog and several successful marketing campaigns in Santa Barbara County for Bragg Live Foods and Dan Poynter. He currently hosts websites he designed for several dozen customers and assists his customers in creating landing pages, SEO and initiatives that require his assistance.
