Allan Hancock College is excited to announce a major step forward in bringing bachelor’s degrees to the Central Coast. You are cordially invited to UnitED Central Coast, a baccalaureate degree information session on Thursday, October 5, at 4:30 p.m. at the Fine Arts Complex on Hancock’s Santa Maria campus. At this unprecedented event, Cuesta College will join Allan Hancock College in a united effort to change the odds for students, businesses, and the communities of Northern Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County. Hear from college leaders and industry representatives regarding two new bachelor’s degrees that will meet the needs of our neighbors: a Bachelor of Science in Applied Professional Studies that will address critical workforce needs for professional industry employers; and a Bachelor of Arts in Education that will increase the regional supply of elementary school teachers. 
 
They need you to join the effort by writing a letter of support for these programs! Specific information will be shared at the meeting, and access to letter templates will be provided to help you get started.
