The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce invites the public to a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the expansion of Savory & Sweet Restaurant. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 30th, at 5:00pm located at 1412 Burton Mesa Blvd.

Vilay Saikeo, founder/owner of Savory & Sweet Eats is a Central California native, with cultural influences from her Laotian roots. Chef Vilay's organic love for food, cuisine, and culture, led her to become a proud graduate, Class of 2103 of The International School of Culinary Arts, located at The Art Institute of California at Santa Monica. Chef Vilay has been active and visible in the local food space, while managing and serving in the role of executive chef in local dining establishments such as 805 Chophouse and Old Town Kitchen and Bar. In addition to these local experiences, Chef Vilay has garnered experience while working in the Malibu, Culver City, as well as working as a sous chef inside of an upscale Los Angeles catering company and working as Chef de Partie, under world renowned chef, Thomas Keller, at Bouchon located inside of The Venetian in Las Vegas.
 
Chef Vilay has a talent and zest for offering food that is creative, flavorful, and satisfying while integrating her deep appreciation for aromas and tastes that truly encapsulate her passion and love for the culinary arts.
