Nick Miller has been working in mechanics and mechanical engineering since he was 15 years old! Working first at a marine repair shop on boat motors, and then in aviation at two different airfields. He graduated with his BSME from UW's Mechanical Engineering Dept, and was the team captain for the FSAE team there of 60 students and lead the team a 3rd place finish at an international competition. This was the best in UW history! He's been fortunate enough to work as a test engineer for a leading Aerospace and Defense contractor and Nick really enjoys design work but also loves getting out of the office and getting his hands dirty.
Nick is extremely excited to be a part of the SpaceX Launch team and he is responsible for integration and preparation of the rocket, from the time it arrives on site to the time that it leaves our launch pad. He manages a very diverse team of technicians and engineers which complete any task, no matter how challenging. Nick gets more excited with each new experience, and continually looks forward to furthering his education as a professional engineer where is currently resides at Vandenberg, Air Force Base.
